BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• At the time of booking, a deposit equivalent to a minimum of 30% of the total programme value is required.

• This DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE, as it is used to confirm and secure services that require immediate purchase, such as airline tickets, train tickets, boat/yacht/ferry excursions, among others, as well as entrance fees to historical monuments, natural and cultural reserves, and other attractions.

HOW TO BOOK

To book a programme, we require the following information for all passengers:

• Full names as they appear in the passport.
• Date of birth.
• Passport number (travellers must hold a passport valid for at least six months after the return date).
• International flight information (flight number and times).

Please note that first names and surnames must match the passport exactly. In the event of errors, amendments must be requested and penalties may apply for name changes. In some cases, a new ticket may need to be issued and will be charged according to the best available fare and conditions at the time of reissue.

PAYMENT TERMS

For FITs

• A deposit of 30% of the total invoice amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• Depending on the travel date, partial payments may be made progressively.
• The balance must be paid at least 45 days prior to the travel date.

For GROUPS (from 20 passengers)

• A deposit of 40% of the total invoice amount must be paid at the time of booking.
• A second payment of 20% must be made 180 days prior to the travel date.
• A third payment of 20% must be made at least 120 days prior to the travel date.
• The remaining balance of 30%, together with the group’s rooming list, must be submitted at least 70 days prior to the travel date.

CANCELLATION TERMS

For FITs

• 180 days or more prior to the passengers’ arrival: the amount corresponding to the initial deposit and any services specified as non-refundable will be charged.
• From 179 to 120 days prior to arrival: 60% of the total amount will be charged.
• From 119 to 21 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total invoice amount will be charged.
• Between 20 days prior to arrival and the arrival date: a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

For GROUPS

• More than 91 days prior to the group’s arrival: no cancellation charges will apply, except for those amounts specified as non-refundable at the time of confirmation.
• From 90 to 60 days prior to the group’s arrival: 50% of the total reservation value will be charged.
• From 59 days prior to arrival up to the travel date: 100% of the reservation value will be charged as a late cancellation penalty.

SPECIFIC BOOKING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS FOR CRUISES, TRAINS AND OTHER SERVICES

• In general, space cannot be held on option.
• To guarantee the reservation, an immediate payment of 100% per person is required.
• For reservations made 60 days or less prior to the commencement of services, FULL payment must be made at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policies

Specific cancellation conditions will be provided at the time of booking.

Special Cases: Air Tickets

• Domestic and international airfares are subject to availability at the time of booking. Fares are provided as a reference only and are subject to change in accordance with airline conditions and availability.

• Once tickets have been issued, they are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of changes, cancellation charges will apply according to the policies established by the airlines and must be paid immediately by the passenger.

• Important Notice: Saro Luxe Journeys recommends that passengers obtain travel cancellation insurance.
